Scarborough-based fashion brand Sik Silk have provided Scarborough Athletic with a huge boost by sponsoring the club’s tracksuits.
Baz Gill, Dave Thompson and Sam Kay have all decided to give their bit back to local sport following the rise and rise of their global clothing company.
Gill and Thompson both turned out for Boro in the past, while Kay is also well known in local football circles.
Thompson scored Boro’s first-ever competitive goal at Teversal back in August of 2007.
All three have called time on their time in football since the brand took off.
Gill said: “We just want to give a bit back, we are really pleased to be given this opportunity to help out Scarborough Athletic.”
